Peppermint Events Ltd. was incorporated in 2003 after the three Directors Alex Brooke, Jared Dalgamouni and Adam Hempenstall came together to combine their experience in the events, licensed and nightclub trades. Their experience running outdoor events and corporate events (such as Henley Regatta and Cowes Week) was coupled with running their own businesses at University and running promotions for London nightclubs and bespoke private events. Peppermint Events’ and Peppermint Bars’ reputation as one of the industry’s leading bar & event management companies has been built on a solid foundation of event management skills & experience, combined with fresh ideas, approaches and attention to detail.

THE TEAM

Alex Brooke, Director

Founded Peppermint alongside Adam Hempenstall in 2003, and has headed up operations since inception. Alex has been instrumental in the formulation of on the ground systems and working practices, ensuring that these are robust enough to deliver in the sometimes challenging environment. As a hands on member of the day to day team Alex has overall oversight of the on-the-ground operations during build & de-rig as well as on show days and working alongside Peppermint’s Project Managers, Event Managers and site crew to ensure the bar operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Adam Hempenstall, Director

Joint founder of the company with Alex Brooke. Over the past 10 years Adam has grown and developed the Peppermint staffing team from under 10 to over 10,000 active members of staff on an annual basis. Peppermint are now able to deploy over 2000 staff in one weekend, managed by a team of expert staffing managers and Peppermint has catchment across the whole of the UK – from Inverness to the Isle of Wight. Adam has overseen the development of bespoke online systems for recruiting and managing staff, including volunteer staff and building excellent staff loyalty with many managers and core staff returning year after year. Adam also oversees the brand Peppermint the marketing of the business as well as new business alongside Alex Brooke and the account managers.

Jared Dalgamouni, Finance Director

Jared joined Peppermint in 2004 as a partner and Finance Director. Jared cut his teeth in the world of finance at the acclaimed Berkley University in America and has brought his intimate knowledge of financial systems to the business, enabling Peppermint to become the envy of the festival bar business through its tight financial controls and unrivalled reporting systems. Jared heads up a team of stock controllers, cash managers and finance assistants each summer who ensure that the back end of Peppermint is the best in the business.

Patrick Falla, Account Manager

With 8 years’ experience in both sales and operations within the events, corporate hospitality and beverage industries; Patrick joined the Peppermint team at the end of 2011 to facilitate new business opportunities.
