Better Together: Our Brand Collaborations

After an incredible summer packed with all kinds of events and festivals, this year has signalled a fantastic host of partnerships for us at Peppermint Events. As well as finding brands for an event, we also find events for a brand, meaning that the perfect matches for each are always found by our onsite matchmakers, headed up by Lauren, our Sponsorship Executive.

 

We have been proud to work with a huge assortment of brands over the course of 2018, including Moët & Chandon, Heineken UK, Hooch, Red Bull, Bacardi, Old Blue Last, Plymouth Gin, Jägermeister and Fever-Tree.

 

When Peppermint is brought to an event, we not only operate as a single entity, but we bring relevant brand partnerships in to enhance and match the event. Particular brands will match certain events; for example, the alcoholic lemonade-style drink Hooch has a certain kind of 90s nostalgia, perfect for Cool Britannia which is a festival that is inspired by the Britpop 90s music scene.

 

As well as the big-boy brands, we also work hard to champion the smaller independents, giving them a chance to showcase at a festival that matches their brand agenda. For the last 5 years, the UK has seen the small-scale brewery, distillery and English vineyard scene explode, meaning that there are huge amounts of interesting independents in demand.

 

One example of an independent that we have successfully worked with several times this year has been Longbottom and Co. . This company, headed by two young guys with an entrepreneurial spirit burst fresh onto the scene this year with a singular ambition to make the finest Virgin Mary going. Currently available at The Sipsmith Gin Palace and several other local outlets, Longbottom and Co.’s Virgin Mary combines top-quality premium ingredients with a sassy style. Their Virgin Mary is easily added to vodka to create the classic Bloody Mary. This year, we successfully matched Longbottom and Co. to Cool Britannia and Henley Regatta so that they could showcase their exciting new product  – matching the demographic for these events perfectly.

 

With such a fantastic summer season under our belts, we are looking at 2019 with new vigour – raring to go and excited for our plans for growth!
