Shepards Wharf is Skandia Cowes Week’s most unique and exciting official event site and is open daily for everything from Crew breakfast s to great live music from 8am until 2am every night. The site has been carefully designed to provide visitors with a variety of high quality bars, hand held food, a restaurant, marine related trade stands and Cowes' best nightclub!

On site you will find: The Crew Bar (with live bands most nights) housed in an amazing double-decker structure, the ever-popular Infernos Nightclub with new themed nights every night this year, the exclusive VIP Pier Bar and superb breakfast, lunch and dinner organic food offerings from Sourced Foods.

In addition to these facilities the site also has; live race results screens, on-line race declarations pods and internet access. We can also host private parties, class receptions or prize-givings in any of these great venues, please contact us for details of how we can help.

This year will see the return of the Extreme 40 fleet, competing out of the iShares Cup race village at Shepards Wharf. The third event of the 2008 iShares Cup Sailing Series will run over three days (August 2-4) on the first few days of Skandia Cowes Week. The high-performance 40-foot catamarans will do battle on race courses set as close to the shore as possible, providing continuous high-octane action for spectators.
