“THE” site for the crews – A new relaxed atmosphere - Limited live bands this year, instead focussing on a relaxed but buzzing atmosphere during the day and evening to recount your exploits on the water.

Toe in the Water Crew Bar - The Regatta's official charity will be putting their name above the door of the crew bar this year. Inside you will find a Toe in the Water Ale, (a proportion of the drink's price goes to the charity) games such as winch grinding from Lewmar - and the perfect place to meet after a day on the water or for a relaxed evening drink or dinner at MuMu the fantastic new restaurant on site. MuMu - A brand new caterer and restaurant partner for 2011 providing simply delicious breakfasts (with homemade bread and freshly roasted coffee on site), lunches (including take away) and informal social evening menus. Download the full menu here. The class functions menu here.

Club Infernos - A theme for every night of the week including the luxurious pier bar which is open to everyone this year as part of Club Infernos. VJ Pete Bristow will be mixing music videos on the big screens inside Club Infernos.

Trade Village - a collection of sailing-related retail stands include Lewmar, Performance Rigging and Laser.

The Pier Bar – The most stunning, unique location for a bar and events space overlooking Shepards Wharf Marina and the River Medina – available for private hire during the day and early evening at no charge (subject to minimum numbers). BBQ menu available on request.

Special Events

Ladies day on Tuesday will see FREE entry for all ladies into Club Infernos. Toe in the Water hosts the party on Wednesday with a “beer & curry” night, complete with winch grinding, tug-o-war and other team games. The annual Mount Gay Rum Red Cap Party returns this year on Thursday with the first 500 being awarded a Red Cap and a welcome drink. A big party is planned for fireworks night on Friday and the Rolex Fastnet send off party on the final Saturday in Club Infernos. More to be announced soon.

The Toe in the Water Crew Bar

The Toe in the Water Crew Bar at Shepards Wharf opens every day at midday and remains open throughout the day until closing at 2am. Entry is free* for competitors at all times. The bar contains a large seating area with race results screens.

Everything we do here is setup to provide competitors, crew and friend a relaxed and less hectic environment to relax and unwind after a hard days racing. (*Except for Thursday’s Red Cap Party)

We have sailing related tarde stands on site, including Lewmar and Laser - as well as giant Event TV screens and a fantastic new restaurant called MuMu.

Mu Mu Restaurant

This year we welcome a fantastic new caterer to Cowes who will be providing delicious breakfasts from 7am, including home made bread, freshly ground and roasted-on-site coffee as well as pre order lunch packs for racing and post race menu sure to get you salivating after a hard days racing! It doesn't end there, with some mouth watering evening menus served in the crew bar on on the Pier as you watch the sun set.

Club Infernos Night Club

Following another sell out year the ever popular Infernos Nightclub will return to Shepards Wharf; playing the best in feel good tunes until the early hours courtesy of Pete Bristow.

Infernos is the only place in Cowes to dance the night away with your fellow crew mates AND you get in free before 11pm every night with a competitor wristband. This year the Pier Bar is open to all - but get in quick as it fills up fast. Inside the Club VJ Pete Bristow mixes all the music videos you love on the big screens. Themes for this year include: Miami Vice, Baywatch (due to popular demand it returns), Brit Pop Night and Ladies Night.

Remember to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Rights of admission are reserved at all times.

The Pier Bar

With its comfy sofas, informal seating areas and sun terrace overlooking one of the best views of the Solent and the River Medina - The Pier Bar is one of the best places to take in the atmosphere of Cowes Week.  During the day the Pier is available for private parties up to 150 people at NO CHARGE. Our restaurant team can provide anything from informal breakfasts to BBQ’s on the sun terrace as well as canapé receptions and formal lunches or dinners. In the evening the Pier Bar forms part of the nightclub from 11pm. Please contact us for further details.

The Trade Village

This year will see an improved and expanded trade area on site. We have worked hard to bring together a good range of marine related trade stands including Lewmar, Laser and others.

Competitor Passes

In the evening access to the site may be restricted participating sailors, their friends and families. On entering the site after 9pm you may asked to show your competitor pass or evidence of sailing, Pass holders may bring family and friends on to the site (R.O.A.R).

Competitor Passes will allow discounted entrance to Club Infernos as well as special offers and discounts throughout the week.
