Bestival’s Summer of Love is fast approaching! Taking place on the sunny (fingers crossed) Isle Of White’s Robin Hill from 10 – 13 September – end the festival season with a bang!
Music to Our Ears
The self-proclaimed ‘mind expanding music’ is sure to leave you with a long list of new artist’s music to download when you get back home. Curated by legendary DJ Rob Da Bank and his wife Josie, this festival is definitely host to the most eclectic mix of sounds the festival season has to offer. Because Bestival transcends music taste, genre and era, it pulls in a crowd from all ages. Eighties throw-backs who have never really gone away, Duran Duran bring something for the oldies headlining Saturday’s stage. Missy Elliot brings the nostalgic hip-hop classics on Sunday for those in their 20’s and 30’s, and teens can bop to Ella Eyre and Skrillex amongst many more up-and-coming names in the music industry, hand-picked by Rob Da Bank.
You Snooze You Lose
If the music wasn’t draw enough for you, Bestival has loads by way of entertainment. A massive comedy line-up, a hot tub, giant slippery slide, carnival parades, and, if you can manage to get up, there are Euphoric Fitness classes which are well worth joining in with. Energise yourself for another long day of bestival-ing by getting physical in the morning, stealing a march on other festival-goers who are busy catching Z’s.
Food Glorious Food
Food is at the forefront at Bestival. The Hang Fire Smokehouse is bringing their award-winning BBQ food, get your freshly ground coffee from The Coffee Camper, sustainable sushi from Happy Maki, and channel La France at Le Rac Shack with an Alpine Raclette amongst many more culinary treats!
Entry tickets to Bestival cost from £195 for an adult, £185 per student, £130 per teen and under 12’s go free. Check the website for details and to nab your tickets before it’s too late!
