EVENTS ASSISTANT - FULL TIME

Location: London Head Office, Remote Working + Various events across the UK 

Salary: £22-26k (dependant on experience) plus overtime

A rare and fantastic opportunity assisting the Project Managers and Operations Manager in coordinating events, ranging from Greenfield events sites, sports events, stadiums and venues. 

You’ll get to work directly with the operational team – an amazing opportunity to learn and develop your skills at fast pace. 

Core Accountabilities: 

GENERAL AND TASK MANAGEMENT: 

  • Liaising with the Operations Manager on equipment requirements & availability for each show and feeding back to the Project Managers
  • Liaising with suppliers, booking equipment and infrastructure then raising purchase orders based on the requirement for each show
  • Preparing equipment and documentation for the Project Managers e.g. – bar folders, onsite documentation, office equipment
  • Collating and sending information to the freelance teams prior to each show – site plans, build plans etc.
  • Collating information post event and sending to the relevant people
  • Creating and amending health and safety documentation as required
  • Creating menu copy & print for each show
  • Occasionally programming of tills
  • Booking accommodation
  • Arranging staff transport

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact
  • Support product change requests and review and communicate the impact on capacity plan

Knowledge / Experience / Skills

ESSENTIAL:

  • Positive, enthusiastic and determined
  • Interested in live music, festivals & clubs
  • Previously worked in a busy environment
  • Has the ability to work on multiple projects, to see connections and solutions
  • Has the ability to stick to deadlines
  • Ability to work on Microsoft Word & Excel software
  • Strong attention to detail & an analytical approach

PREFERRED:

  • Minimum of working 2+ years within the role
  • Experience using Adobe Creative software
  • Experience using accounting software

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience within the relevant field
  • Full driving licence
