Band of Skulls have been announced as Standon Calling’s second headlining act for 2013. The Blue’s-rock trio who have previously opened the show for Muse on their current American Tour will be joining the first headlining act De La Soul on the main stage at the August weekend festival in Hertfordshire.

Bastille’s debut album is out on the 4th March 2013 and pre ordered through ITunes and Amazon Mp3 as downloads or delivered through the artist store or Amazon.co.uk. BRIT Award Critics Choice and BBC’s Sound of 2013 runner up, AlunaGeorge shall be taking the stage at Standon Calling 2013, if you can’t wait until August to see them, catch AlunaGeorge at Electric Brixton in London on the 20th June 2013.
King Charles is another addition to this year’s line-up; the folk/indie artist had a busy summer of festivals in 2012 making an appearance at Secret Garden Party, Bingley Live and Bestival – and 2013 seems to be the same with already confirming its attendance at Standon Calling. The correspondents, Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Revere, Belakiss, Bibelots, New Groove Formation and Stills are just a handful of the acts performing this year. Standon Calling is staying true to its Hertfordshire routes by confirming local singer-song writer Annie Dale as one of the acts for 2013.
