Business Development Manager

The purpose of this role is to manage the Sales side of the business, supporting the Managing Directors and leading a team to drive sales growth through new business development. The role will include pipeline management, oversight of timely response to tenders, supporting the directors in pitches for major new event contract as well as generating your own leads and new opportunities both in the core festival sector but also in new complimentary sectors such as sporting arenas and high footfall visitor attractions.

Core Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the team ensuring clear performance objectives are set and regularly monitored via KPI’s and Sales targets
  • Coach and develop the team to ensure they have the necessary support to perform their role
  • Leading the entire sales process from start finish
    • Generating leads
    • Facilitating meetings & following up actions
    • Scheduling and delegating work flow
    • Oversight and leadership of preparation of pitch documents
    • Timely response to tender documents
    • Leadership of creation of sales collateral (with professional support where required)
    • Creating commercial deals and risk assessment
    • Working with the pitch writer to develop sales proposals

  • Pro-active drive to improve overall margin at every level. Ensuring minimum event margins are achieved at each event

Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an energetic company specialising in the field of festivals and events. The position provides a wide ranging varied role and is an integral part of the finance team. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and articulate individual who wants to work in a fast paced environment.


• Full ownership of accounts payable and accounts receivable function

Account Director / Project Director – Equals Agency

A rare opportunity for a Account Director / Senior Events Producer to join Equals Agency; the experiential marketing services arm of Peppermint Events. The role will report directly to the Head of Agency / Client Services Director and is split into two core areas – business development and experiential project management. This is a role for someone who is looking to create something unique with their career.


By combining the breadth of experience and knowledge of Equals and Peppermint, we are able to provide a winning formula for successful activations. Equals has a ‘start-up’ mentaltity, and any new recruit will have considerable autonomy and ability to shape the future of the agency in conjunction with the Head of Agency / Client Services Director. Our clients include Moët Hennessy, Heineken, Super Cell, Pernod Ricard and many more global brands.

With this in mind we are looking for an energetic and career-driven Account Director / Senior Event Producer who enjoys festivals, live events (brand activation, brand experience, corporate, contract, sports, agency and consumer). Reporting into the Head of Agency / Client Services Director, you will be responsible for effectively delivering on projects and campaigns and managing your tasks and time with a high degree of autonomy, consistency and attention to detail.

The Account Director / Senior Event Producer will be a key day to day client contact at senior brand manager and marketing manager level across multiple clients. You will build and maintain strong relationships with your clients, developing a culture of trust and leading positive relationships with team members and with all other key stakeholders while maintaining the agency’s ways of working. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ultimately accountable for each client’s budget and portfolio P&L, ensuring all budgets stay on track and projects deliver their GP and contribution targets
  • Understand the financial context (e.g. targets set) and be able to talk about it confidently using the appropriate terminology
  • Work with the senior managers reporting to you to scope and sign off full budgets, with input from all other appropriate departments, including clearly outlined R&R planning
  • Ensure strategic targets remain on track as projects progress
  • Deliver end of event reports of campaign results, including key stats and KPI’s achieved

  • Solid proven experience in business development and project management
